About Chapel

Dreaming of an intimate wedding? Consider a charming church like Chapel Manila, perfect for celebrating with your closest loved ones. Discover the beauty and personal touch that a smaller venue brings to your special day.

The Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament, or MBS Chapel, is a significant landmark within De La Salle University in Manila. Situated on the second floor of St La Salle Hall's south wing, this Art Deco chapel, designed by Tomás Mapúa and built in the 1930s, features pews crafted from narra wood, adorned with the Signum Fidei Star, symbol of the De La Salle Brothers.

Steeped in history, the chapel witnessed a tragic event during the liberation of Manila on February 12, 1945. Retreating Japanese troops massacred at least 60 civilians who sought refuge within its walls, believing in the building's protective strength. The 75th jubilee of the Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament was commemorated on December 2, 2014, with a Mass led by De La Salle University alumnus, Rev. Fr. Benildus Maramba OSB.
