The food is, no doubt, amazing. But what sets the bar high is how Deo and Anne were super attentive to our needs. From refilling our tables with nonstop food, to making sure our thirsts were quenched until our bellies were super full until we...told them they had to stop serving. Definitely a must try!

Although the buffet price can be expensive, it is well worth the experience. The food was delicious and the service excellent.

Exceptional service at cafe 1228 every breakfast. Service crew are very hospitable and helpful especially with little kids. Deo and his crew is very friendly, hospitable and will take care of your needs specially when you have picky kids accompanying you.

Celebrated our son s 21st bday in Cafe 1228 in New World Hotel. The spread is not much.but there are dishes that stood out the sashini are indeed fresh, delectable beef lasagna, nice sauted shirmps and the ribeye was cooked and seasoned nicely. Café 1228 is a great place to eat. Although the menu may be smaller than others, the quality of the food and service are excellent.

It was okay, but not worth the price. I expected much higher quality. A Coca Cola is 280 PHP.

Buffet breakfast Another great find. It was packed. Not bad buffet with everything from Chinese to American cuisine to international.

The food is not exceptional and there are only a few dishes. A yakimix, vikings or buffet would offer more value.

There are many options for seafood, beef and chicken. Our server Deo was very helpful and friendly. It was well worth it!

Reggie from Cafe provided excellent service. He was responsive and prompt despite the large number of clients. We will definitely be returning with our family and friends. It is the weekend brunch that I look forward to every year.

Delicious food. Chefs are quick to serve. Deo was a great waiter. Deo made it a memorable experience for our family. Although we had reserved our tables ahead of time, there was a small problem with the seating. Overall, however...we had a wonderful time thanks to the people who attended.

Our servers, jowie and Jnoe were very accommodating. They took the time to get to know us, and asked if we needed water or coffee. The food was also delicious! Although the variety was small, it tasted great.

Excellent service as always (Mark, Kaye and Paolo, thank you!) Excellent food. It is our favourite hotel buffet spot. This is a favorite place to eat at the hotel buffet. It is always a delight to dine at this restaurant. It would be a small tip to have more Thai and Indian cuisines in the future.

There are not many options for local foods, but I was happy with the choice of Kare Kare.

Good buffet Worth it

Cafe 1228 offered a promo to open their doors. The menu had limited offerings, but the quality of the sushi was excellent. They have sashimi from various cuisines including Filipino and Italian. They have a variety of desserts.

This is a business hotel which is located within walking distance to a abundant number of restaurants and shops Would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Manila Makati area
