Great customer service! They explained things to me very well and helped me decide on my choice of fabric, color, and different elements of my suit (there were a lot of customization options). Spent many evenings there, great staff, world class live bands from blues and heavy rock to reggae, great value, friendly regulars, like a home from home but better! Without a doubt one of the most memorable bars I ve frequented worldwide. Starts quite late though, but...I never made it to closing time.. Food good too.

Band plays on the ground floor, so the 2nd floor and loft allow for you to chat and relax with dinner and drinks without being drowned out by the music. Its closed on Sundays and Mondays, and also gets booked up for private functions. So...probably wise to give a call to check and make reservations.

After nearly 10 years in the Philippines 1951 is my favorite bar. Booze is cheap, people are friendly, music is constantly great, always new art on the walls. Food is decent, but their fresh chips crisps are excellent. Its a hidden gem and well worth trekking...too. In any other city in the world this bar would be heaving every night.

I went there during holy week, so it was not busy, but the band was playing very good blues, will definitely check again when I m back in Manila

We found this little pub by chance walking through Malate during our first evening in the Philippines. The live music was good and the staff very friendly. We will surely come back during our next stop in Manila!

I love this place even before they changed the name. If you are a regular, the staff would know your order even before you open your mouth. I also like the fact that they consider non smokers and us (smokers) would need to go out. They...set the bar too high whenever i drink in a bar. Try their vegetarian pizza. It is one of their best!

Good atmosphere live music, rustic interior decent drinks. Location is a bit dodgy but it s Malate so quite normal for that.

This was our second last stop for the night to send off a colleague to another opportunity in another organization. Music was loud enough so that you needed to speak up close to your friends ear.
