It was a pleasant atmosphere in the fortress. The Spanish architecture was beautiful. I look forward to seeing it again.

As a kid, I visited the Rizal Museum. There are no tour guides available.

Fort Santiago became a tourist attraction and park in 2005. The land beyond the city walls was transformed into a large golf course. The former barracks and churches were converted into performance halls. The Li Cha Memorial Hall, which now houses the articles and other literary works that Li Cha used in prison, is open to adults and costs 75 pesos... see more
