Highly recommended as a way to connect to local culture. Free. Historical heritage site, a quick 30 minute viewing and picture taking with the onsite tour guide works. Unique features replica pottery, Old Makati photos and trivia, Makati Mayors from 1912 to present, the historical house itself, capiz windows, & the partially preserved chandeliers.... see more

Fairly text based narrative of the history of the district. Free, quiet and sleepy spot if you have some minutes to burn. Also checked the historical church nearby.

A great to visit, where I have also a great experience here. It was been a good memories for us because we have a knowledge about the history of Makati and it was an honor for us to know the true history of it.

Surprised with the history of Makati before it became the CBD.

Finally got to visit after renovations . Do not waste your time. Nothing but bad portraits of Makati mayors and a few faded photographs. Nothing about its history. Ayala Museum far better to understand Makati history.

Makati Museum located at the corner of J P Rizal and A Mabini Streets and across Poblacion Sports Complex Just head towards Guadalupe on a jeep The old building was constructed in 1918 as the first municipal hall of the back then Municipality of Makati I think the high school was also near here In 1992 they turned this into a museum Exhib... see more
