It is amazing how much it has improved over the past two years. The exterior garden could use some work but the interior architecture is beautiful. The registration process takes only 15 minutes and includes a photo. The ID is valid for life. We have only visited the reading room, but hope to visit more parts of the library that can be developed. We also hope there will be additional libraries across the country.


The National Library of the Philippines, a public library of books and other published material is situated at T M Kalaw Street near Luneta Park. One only needs to register to gain access to the facilities. The library has some very rare books as well as various manuscripts and maps of the country.


There is more ease now than a decade ago when it comes to checking out books.


It is a great place to do research or study. The staff was friendly and helpful.
