Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center was founded in 1964 purposely to provide the necessary health needs of Marikina and the adjoining towns and municipalities of Rizal province. Through the years, the hospital became fully departmentalized and equipped with services in the field of Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Surgery, Anesthesia, their subspecialty, and Ancillary services such as Pathology, Radiology, and Dental Services. It was upgraded into a Medical Center in 1995.
It caters not only to the people of Marikina but also to the neighboring towns of Rizal, like Antipolo, San Mateo, Cainta, Rodriguez, Pasig City, Quezon City, and other parts of Metro Manila and other provinces. Since this hospital is the nearest medical center in the Eastern part of Rizal, it becomes the referral center for more complicated cases.
Amang' Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center is a globally responsive tertiary healthcare facility providing patient-centered service, excellent training and relevant research.
