You can walk to the Manila Cathedral without paying an entrance fee. It is well worth it.

This is one of the most underrated tourist spots in Manila. It's clean and has a lot of history. The staff are very friendly. We were given a tour by the guard who gave us some history on the area. He also took pictures.

I was immediately struck by how busy the gate looked. There were many people taking pictures, others playing and eating.
