Incredible place to visit

On a weekday, absolute madness goes to all the gills.

I love this place it just keeps getting better each time I go it is so big you need all day to see everything seriously.. The gift shop in the best around .

We went on President s Day and was significantly less crowded than I expected. There were plenty of exhibits for all ages. My dinosaur loving kid was obsessed with the fossil hall and loved seeing all of the animals throughout. It s not too difficult to walk to from the nearby monuments and was worth the trip.

Still a classic and still educationally fun !!

Spent 3 hours there and didn t close to all of it, so much to see. Food is not great there

I am honored that our nation has invested so heavily in the arts! A must see for every visitor, especially, from those coming from abroad.

My kids love modern displays. The Dinosaur Collection is very complete.

Great museum

We could have spent more time here than Littlerally. There are so many things to do and see. The only problem is that you can't walk into the museum if you want to see live butterflies.

It took me about six hours to see everything. I am a geologist and I found the section on geology incredible.

The museum has amazing exhibits. There is something new around every corner.

The museum is great for both kids and adults. It is easy to wander around and find your way.

Reading is tiring. A great audio tour could be rented. The Ark in Kentucky or the Biltmore house in Asheville NC have a wonderful audio tour. You can also pause it while you view the exhibits. It was fantastic!

It takes almost an entire day just to visit one floor

It was a beautiful and organized museum. The reason it got four stars is because of the customer service. They act as though they are part of TSA and check your bags. I tried to tell them that I was sorry, but they just ignored me. There were two cafés that served buffet-style food and several gift shops throughout the museum.

It was incredible. You know that it's huge, but until you stand there you can't see how big. Night at the Museum is just like the movies. There is nothing quite like it. As a microbiologist I believe this place should be experienced by everyone who is interested in science.

If you're short on time, this museum is worth the visit. There are many things to look at.
