Intramuros and Rizal Bagumbayan Light and Sound Museum are the main attractions exhibiting the Philippine History and the Filipino's journey to freedom, located in Intramuros. Over hundreds of mannequins portraying pre-Spanish colonization until the legacy of Rizal in becoming a national hero occupied two levels of the building.
The 3D representations of the Spanish rule are very realistic, and as the Intramuros' main venue, the connection became vicarious, and the visualization of what happened during that period of our history is easier.
It is a distinctive museum with sound effects, lights, and incredible timing of mechanics running the exhibits inside. It takes an hour to walk thru history in a dark room with paintings, sculptures, models, and representations that surprise everyone every time a spotlight is drawn to them. If you are alone or in a group with less than 10 people, you can join a group to avail the 150 per head fee as they charged 1,500.00 per show.
Experience a recreation of history with light and sound – artworks, visuals and sounds, and robotics in an hour. Retrace the footsteps of our Philippine national hero, Jose Rizal, a polymath, polyglot, doctor, novelist, poet, social reformist, and inspirer of the 1896 Philippine Revolution. Relieve this Great Asian’s heroism and martyrdom in the actual setting of his incarceration in Intramuros. Join him on his last walk to his execution at nearby Bagumbayan Field, now Luneta Park.
