About Lartizan

Lartizan Boulangerie Francaise is an artisanal French bakery is owned by Johnlu Koa of French Baker. This place is known for its wide selection of breads, pastries, and teas that are perfect for any day.

It was established in 2007 as a pioneer in baking traditional French breads in the Philippines using sourdough from wild yeast or "levain." It has a complete assortment of artisan breads that contain all-natural red wheat, rye, white wheat, and whole-grain flours, free from chemicals and additives.

Lartizan offers a variety of breakfast items, appetizers, salads, and main dishes on top of the bread and pastry offerings.
Some items on the menu include the Organic Eggs Benedict on Toasted English Muffin, Shaved Jamon Iberico de Bellota with bread, Special King Crab Meat Salad, 3-Cheese Stuffed Ravioli, Grilled Lamb Chops, and Mushroom Melt on Brioche.

Aside from tea and coffee, Lartizan also offers a variety of wines and champagne to complement the restaurant's dishes.

I had the Stuffed Pork Chop, which I found extremely dry. I don't think this is a good thing. The service was terrible. There were very few people there and the staff seemed inattentive. It reminded me of high school students who tried to manage a small business using poor customer service skills. I couldn't recommend the place.

These ads have appeared on my FB feed for the past couple of days. This is what sparked my curiosity about French cuisine. I visited Lartizan, a French restaurant in Serendra. Lartizan was my favourite french bakery, especially the Kouign Amman. It had an exceptional buttery caramelized flavor and a moist buttery texture. But now the butter has gone totally dry. They put some nuts on it instead of the perfect recipe.
