About Shrine of the Five Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Discover the Shrine of the Five Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a prominent Catholic church in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Conceived in 1998 and dedicated on June 12, 2010, this architectural marvel stands as a testament to faith and modern design. Elevated to a shrine by the Diocese of Parañaque in 2012, it embodies dynamism, power, and permanence, reflecting divine attributes.

Inspired by the nautilus, the church showcases perfect natural proportions and the golden mean. Its grand structure serves as a contemporary landmark, complementing the historic Las Piñas Bamboo Organ Church. The design creates a link between the past and the future, ensuring a legacy of culture for the city.

Symbolizing the Holy Trinity, three colossal shells represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, core tenets of Catholic dogma. Vibrant colors attract a younger audience, conveying that God is present and relevant.

The shrine features a 2,500-seat main chapel, a eucharistic chapel, a minor chapel, and a 500-vault columbarium. Additional amenities include a 350-seat auditorium and a 25-car basement parking. Constructed with EIFS, high-performance architectural glass, Italian marble, steel, and aluminum, the building's structural frame is a composite of steel and reinforced concrete.

Visit the Shrine of the Five Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ at C2Q2+JWJ Las Piñas, 1747 Metro Manila, Philippines. Open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For inquiries, call +63 2 88014020.

The beauty of this church is so amazing. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The little chapel in TALON 4 is guided by Shrine of the Five Wounds. Also beautiful.
