About St. Luke's College of Medicine

The 14-storey College of Medicine building, completed in June 1997, has air-conditioned classrooms and conference/lecture halls with audio-visual devices. The College has 5 basic science laboratories, a Skills-Training Laboratory, Behavioral Science Laboratory and a mock Operating Room.

The Library has been designed to nurture a person’s inclination to learn as comfortably as possible. It has a computer section complete with internet facilities aside from the WiFi access available in the Library.

At the Penthouse is an Auditorium that serves as a venue for large student and faculty conferences and activities of the College as well as events of the Medical Center. Three elevators ease access to all floor levels.

St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial (SLMCCM-WHQM) is one of the 44 medical schools in the Philippines. Established in 1994 as the medical school of the St. Luke’s Medical Center (est. 1903), it offers a 5-year Curriculum leading to the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD), assuring a one-year internship program at the Medical Center. SLCM-WHQM is duly accredited by the Commission on Higher Education.

SLCM-WHQM consists of Basic and Clinical Departments with a full complement of faculty and staff.

What is the Application Period? Applications for Academic Year 2023-2024 are accepted from October 2, 2022 to April 30, 2023. What will you do to find out if we were accepted? The list of qualified applicants will be displayed on the bulletin boards at the SLMCCM–WHQM Building. All applicants who are successful will be notified via telephone, mail and e-mail. This website allows you to access the list. Does there exist an entrance test? No.

For foreign applicants who have not been educated in English, an English Proficiency Test might be necessary. Interviews for successful candidates will take place starting in February 2023. Interviewees who are qualified will receive information via e-mail, phone and mail about their scheduled interview. Is the St.

Luke s College of Medicine affiliated with international centers? The St. Luke s College of Medicine and St. Luke s Medical Center are associated with Memorial Sloan-Kettering cancer Center, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. Accepting AB and Bachelor of Arts students.

We will accept any bachelor's degree, regardless of whether the subjects are part of their degrees or taken as an additional course. When should you take the NMAT? The NMAT must be taken in the past 2 years. Are you able to provide a dormitory or boarding house for students? No, we do not offer boarding houses within our college. Privately owned boarding homes and apartments are available near the college.

What if I do not have the required documents? How do I proceed? You may submit a certified true copy of transcript of records from the first year through the fourth year for application purposes. This will allow you to verify that you have the necessary subjects. Also, you can attach a photocopy of your NMAT results and a completed Application Form. You can submit your application even if you have not taken the NMAT.

Your NMAT results will be used to evaluate your application and determine if it is eligible for processing. Last year, I tried to apply but was not accepted. You can apply again. Accepting Transferees? Yes.

We accept transfers up to level 2nd year provided that you are in the top 20 class and have no incurred failures. You must meet the admission criteria for regular first year applicants. Dual Filipino and Filipino citizenship. I also obtained my bachelor's degree at a university outside the Philippines.

Do I need to apply locally or abroad? My Bachelor's degree was obtained in the Philippines as a foreigner. Are I considered to be a native or foreign applicant?
