Academy One Music & Dance Center

Established in 1994, Academy One is a performing arts school specializing in ballet and dance. Classical ballet is offered year-round. During our summer intensive we have other lessons such as lyrical jazz, contemporary dance, hiphop/street dance, and other specialized courses

Most known for their ballet classes,the Academy One Music & Dance Center hosts training classes for music like voice, piano and guitar as well as other dance courses such as lyrical contemporary dance, hiphop, and other specialized courses.

Academy One was established in 1994 and specializes in dance and ballet. All year, classical ballet classes are offered. Other lessons are offered during our summer intensive, including lyrical Jazz, contemporary dance and hiphop street dancing. Students from Academy One have been awarded scholarships to the Philippine High School of the Arts and Ballet Philippines. The students represented the Philippines at the New York International Ballet Competition 2009.

They were also finalists in both the NAMCYA competition in Manila and the CCP regional ballet competition. In addition, they have placed and won the Philippine Dance Cup as well as the Asian Grand Prix in Hong Kong. Two of our students competed in 2017's Prix de Lausanne Ballet Competition. Many of our alumni went on to work with international and local ballet companies.
