About Gateway Gallery

A great place again to go with your friends! Also free for everyone who wants to visit. The art gallery located at the gateway is devoted to promoting the arts! The exhibit above is Siningsasay: Philippine History in Art, presenting a better understanding of the country's history.

It is a free-admission museum, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

History

Opened in November 2014, the art museum has been visited by close to 250,000 guests from all walks of life.

It has been known for its continuing programs in areas such as museum docents (Museum Guide Program), storytelling, cultural shows, seasonal film screenings, art workshops, free guided tours on weekends, talks and lectures, reading and games, augmented reality (SiningSaysay AR), mobile museum app, mobile exhibit (SiningSaysay Traveling Exhibit), the publication (SiningSaya), and culture-themed webinars (KulturaSerye Webinars). 

An art museum of the Araneta Center devoted to promoting the arts. In their exhibits and events, they showcase the Philippines' arts, culture, and history.

Gateway Gallery Celebrates Six Years Gateway Gallery celebrated its six-year anniversary in November 2020. The 6-year anniversary of the opening of Gateway Gallery in November 2014 is well worth documenting. It has received close to 250,000 visitors from all walks and professions since its opening. Although it is still young, the gallery has a strong foundation. Gateway Gallery spent its first six years, which were very fast, building its culture and foundation.

Gateway Gallery was founded with a goal to be a leading museum in the country, offering dynamic and relevant programs. Gateway Gallery formed partnerships with institutions and groups to provide services to these people, strengthening their position. Gateway Gallery is the heart of Araneta City. It allows visitors to reflect and discover the Filipino essence and identity through exhibitions and events.

This completes Araneta City's lifestyle of dining, shopping and entertainment. Gateway Gallery was founded and maintained programs that were engaging its audiences in its six first years. The Gallery is well-known for continuing programs such as storytelling Kuwentuhang Aparna sa Gateway Gallery, Museum Guide Program, Storytelling Kuwentuhang Adarna, Sineng Malaya seasonal film screenings, workshops Artsy Workshops, and talks and lectures Proyekto Live. The organization has formed meaningful partnerships with institutions like the Philippine Pastel Artists Society, Adarna House, Proyekto, Inc., Philippine Pastel Artists, Portrait Artists Society of the Philippines, Adarna House, as well as other groups such the Filipino Portrait Artists Guild, Inc., Philippine Pastel Artists, Portrait Artists Society of the Philippines, Adarna House, Proyekto.

As it created projects to benefit museum-goers, the organization also worked in collaboration with historians, artists, curators, scholars and teachers. Gateway Gallery's art collection has also grown in value and size. It started out with zero artworks and now boasts 86 pieces. It also has the SiningSaysay Exhibit's 30 large-scale history paintings.

These artworks have a priceless intrinsic value. They contribute to people's quality of life and inspire them. It has truly been an enjoyable six years. With fondness, we look back on the many events we were able to organize and the friendships we maintained.

As we refine and improve our mission and vision for nation building, we look forward with excitement and confidence to the six years ahead. This is a gallery with 20 paintings which tell the story of the Philippines. I visited it on Saturday afternoon, and the place was quiet and empty.
