About Malabon Zoo

Malabon Zoo first opened and was founded by Manny Tangco in 1989. In March 2020, the community quarantine measures were lifted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the zoo was forced to close, causing financial strain on the zoo's maintenance.

This led the owner to launch an appeal for donations so he could feed the animals from the zoo, which was responded to by different private and public personalities. The zoo was reopened on November 7, 2021.

Malabon Zoo has developed a reputation for naming its individual animals after public figures including former and current politicians, actors and actresses, and other celebrities. Among the animals kept in captivity include Bengal tigers, lions, bears, deer, orangutans, and snakes.

This is a great spot for your children to see live animals. They can learn from the animal and also feel bad for it.

Today I visited the Zoo. It was disappointing. The entrance cost of 300 is too high and there is no way to keep the animals comfortable.

The zoo can be quite congested despite the many animals. Poor air quality also adds to this problem. The zoo's unique design is amazing. The floating vines that act as roofs give me the feeling of living in a natural forest. This is truly a stunning sight. ( )

It was like visiting an abandoned zoo with animals inside. As they weren't there, I was worried about their fate. I hope the current animals get a better fate. Your 300 pesos are worthless.

Because it is enclosed, its size doesn't compare to outdoor zoos.

The entrance fee for this zoo costs P300 per person. However, Manila Zoo is better than Malabon Zoo.
