Red Ribbon

Renato Mercado and her wife, Amalia Hizon Mercado, with their five children, established Red Ribbon in 1979 as a small cake shop along Timog Ave in Quezon City. The cakes developed by their daughter Teresita Moran gave Red Ribbon its prominence in the dessert market of the Philippines.
They opened their first branch outlet overseas in West Covina, California, in 1984. There are more than 200 branches all over the Philippines, five in Las Vegas, 32 stores all over California, one in Metropolitan Detroit, one in Houston, Texas, two in New Jersey (Jersey City and Bergenfield), and one in Metropolitan Phoenix.

In 1979, what started out as a hobby-induced business in Timog, Quezon City, expanded into a proudly Filipino-owned and professionally run business. Red Ribbon has grown to over 450 outlets all over the Philippines and over 30 stores in the US.

Red Ribbon presents its NEW Classic Bread Rolls. Red Ribbon is a staple in Filipino celebrations. Its delicious cakes make gifting and family occasions more memorable. Their delicious Butter Mamons, Cheesy Endsaimadas, Taisan and Moist Choco Slice have been loved by many Filipinos. They are used as snacks and school baons.

We Filipinos love breads. They are a staple at breakfast, served with hot coffee and other noodles like spaghetti, pancit, and, of course, with merienda, our favorite palaman, and a refreshing, cool drink. Red Ribbon is a well-known curator of quality baked goods, so we are delighted to welcome their newest product. The NEW Classic Bread Rolls will be available in Luzon shops starting in November and then in Mindanao and Visayas stores soon.
