Solaire Resort & Casino is the first integrated destination resort on an 8.3 hectare site in Manila’s Entertainment City. Solaire Resort and Casino opened March 16, 2013.  Solaire Resort and Casino was first named Solaire Manila when the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) awarded them a license in 2009 and in 2010 it was change for the more luxurious name Solaire Resort and Casino. SOLAIRE in French translates to, "The Breeze From The Sun" was inspired by its location and its spectacular view of the sunset of Manila Bay.  It is part of Entertainment City which will also include Manila Bay Resorts, City of Dreams and Resorts World Bayshore. 

It has two hundred ninety five table games and one thousand two hundred gaming machines.
