About Yamazato

Yamazato first opened at Hotel Okura Tokyo back in 1962, and as of 2020, it already has 11 local and international branches. In December 2019, the Manila branch opened in Hotel Okura Manila, situated in Resorts World Manila, the first Integrated Resorts in the Philippines.

Yamazato means "mountain village" and this inspiration reflects the restaurant's commitment to showcasing seasonal ingredients in its dishes using fresh and premium ingredients.

The restaurant has a modern Japanese interior design utilizing natural wood, dark marbles, and granite tiles. The diffused light makes the interior feel warm and intimate while the Japanese instrumental music playing in the background adds a tranquil ambiance.

The main dining area has tables that can accommodate groups of two to four persons and there are also semi-private dining rooms which guests can reserve for a more intimate dining experience.

Yamazato's menu features a selection of sushi and nigiri sushi which are best enjoyed at the restaurant's sushi bar. The teppanyaki bar is one of the highlights of Yamazato. The teppan menu features premium seafood, beef, and seasonal vegetables expertly cooked in front of the guests.

"Japanese Fine Dining Crafted to Perfection The Okura's signature Japanese fine dining restaurant Yamazato serves only the freshest ingredients that ensure supreme taste and unmatched quality."
