About Asian Eye Institute

Asian Eye Institute is a culmination of the vision and perseverance of world-renowned Filipino-American ophthalmologist Dr. Felipe I. Tolentino and Lopez Group of Companies Chairman Emeritus Mr. Oscar M. Lopez.

For many years, Mr. Lopez traveled to Boston to avail himself of the treatment for his glaucoma and established an enduring friendship with Mr. Tolentino. They established a center of excellent eye care in the Philippines upon recognizing the Filipino's urgent need for quality eye care.

Dr. Tolentino selected Harvard-trained opthalmologist with different specialties to be the core medical team, and Mr. Lopez mobilized the management team to establish and organize the center with the business support and public service leaders who shared and believed in the same vision. Through their efforts, the dream of providing quality care to Filipinos became a reality.

Because we had been asked to arrive by 10 45 for an appointment at 12 noon, they were unable to accommodate us.

Great place to get eye care. My mom almost went blind, but the doctors were quick to intervene and save her sight.

I am grateful to Dr Sharlene Nguera and her staff for their excellent care. Thank you Asian Eye Institute ROCKWELL, for providing such a helpful optical staff that is always willing to assist you.

You can be there 1 hour later than the time you have scheduled. They don't plan correctly.

Don't go there They only want your cash They don't really care about their patients. My mother-in law is at risk of becoming blind due to them

Here you are just another number. There is no personal approach to you or care to recommend the specialist that is more appropriate for you, even though you tell the doctor ahead of your consultation purpose. If you mention it to the doctor, he will refer you to another doctor at a different appointment.

Accepting cash only for medical fees is a very shady practice in our modern age. However, you can pay everything by other means. The bureaucracy is also cumbersome. Exams are not performed by the doctor that you have booked but rather by interns. I felt extremely disrespected by them and will never be returning to your institution.
