The De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) was founded in 1973 by the late Dr, Jose V. de Los Santos Sr. It is the seventh hospital of the Metro Pacific Investment Corp. (MPIC) otherwise known as the MVP Group of Companies located along E. Rodriguez Sr. Boulevard in Quezon City.

COMPANY PROFILE De Los Santos Memorial Center DLSMC, a private, 150-bed Level 3 tertiary medical center in Quezon City has over 350 visiting and active multi-specialist doctors. This medical facility is part of Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings, Inc. MPHHI, and the seventh member hospital. It's headed by Manuel V. Pangilinan, a businessman.

On September 17, 1949, Dr. Jose V. de los Santos Sr. founded the hospital. He is known for being the father of Philippine Orthopedics. Do a Pacita V. de los Santos was his partner.

Together they founded a clinic with 30 beds along E. Rodriguez Sr. Boulevard that specialized in rehabilitation and treatment of bone abnormalities. This was in support of their two daughters, who had been afflicted with polio.

The family-owned De Los Santos Clinic was expanded to become a 150-bed hospital known as De Los Santos General Hospital. It also added specialty areas such as surgery, obstetrics, gynecology and internal medicine. De Los Santos Medical Center was renamed De Los Santos Medical Center on June 3, 2013. It became 7th MPHHI-affiliated hospital.

DLSMC was upgraded by MPHHI. This included structural improvements to its main hospital and the conversion of an adjacent building into a Medical Arts Building that houses over 50 clinics. In addition to the physical expansions of the hospital, special centers were established for diagnostic and therapeutic services. These included the Eye Center and Arthritis Center and Memory Centers.

It also offers specialized services such as neurosurgery and cardiology. The hospital was also the first to provide the PhilHealth Z Benefit package for kidney transplantation. DLSMC's first Catheterization Laboratory Unit opened in 2018. It offers interventional procedures for radiology, neurology and cardiology.

DLSMC is committed to providing Quality but Affordable Healthcare. It was so disappointing that I received a biopsy results without an envelope. Even small labs don't release their result in envelopes.
