It is a small park within the boundaries of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in Malate Manila built-in 1584 during the Colonization of Spain. It is a triangular fortification that serves as a protection and a rearguard of the place.

The Spanish used it as a gun powder depot, transformed into a garrison by the British when the British invaded Manila in 1762, fell into the Americans in 1898, and eventually into Japanese control in WW2. It was restored in 1972 and is now a beautiful little park enclosed within the confines of the Central Bank of the Philippines.

Baluarte de San Diego at Intramuros Manila is a majestic stone fort. Its huge medieval-style walls, made of large blocks, will make anybody feel safe and secure.&nbsp;

The baluarte had been breached and fallen in 1762 from the British forces. After the occupation it was restored only to fall again due to earthquake in 1863. Then it was once more destroyed from the Battle of Manila in 1945. The fort&#39;s most recent restoration work was completed in 1992.

Today in Manila the fort is being transformed into a tourist spot. A beautiful garden was built around the fort, with shaded walkways, fountains, old cannons and artillery and pieces of the preceding century showing.&nbsp;

The garden is well landscaped, The plants are arranged in cluster and more with Pergolas and walkways too. There is a bigger space and well manicured lawn. Really green grasses cover the open area like the golf courses nearby. 
 
This could also be utilized for other functions like wedding venue for ceremonies and receptions.

It is open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM. Make sure to visit during dry season from November to April with a minimal admission.

Plaza de Roma is one of the two major public squares located in Intramuros, Manila. It served as the Plaza Mayor during the Spanish colonial era. It was&nbsp;then considered the center of the city where bullfights and other public events were held before it was converted into a garden.

In&nbsp;1797 the garden was then converted into a park and renamed Plaza McKinley after the U.S. President William McKinley in 1901.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;Manila American Cemetery and Memorial&nbsp;in the&nbsp;Philippines&nbsp;honor the American and allied service members who died fighting the Japanese in World War II. In addition, the Cemetery offers repose to soldiers who died in the Pacific theater, including the Philippines, New Guinea, and the Pacific islands.

The graves include those of 16,636 Americans and 570 Philippine Scouts who served in the Pacific theater. 3,744 unidentified soldiers also rest within the grounds of the American Cemetery.

It is marked by white marble headstones set in a circular pattern on gently sloping grounds. The graves are arranged around a circular structure that includes a white chapel and two hemicycles that honor the war&#39;s many missing servicemen.

The cemetery is open daily to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except December 25 and January 1.&nbsp;A valid photo ID is required for entrance to the Cemetery.
