Founded in 1844, Casino Español De Manila is the oldest club in the Philippines. Located at the heart of Old Manila, Casino Español is a sanctuary of time-honored Spanish charm and traditions, where members and their families and friends can go to enjoy enchanting Colonial architecture, authentic Spanish cuisine, a regulation pelota court, and other special recreational, social, and cultural facilities and activities.
The restaurant, known for being the venue for pertinent occasions of Spain in the Philippines (including hosting state visits of royalties from our former colony), serves delectable Spanish-inspired and intercontinental dishes.
Located within the premises of the oldest Spanish club in Manila, the restaurant remains quiet and beautiful.
Casino Espanol easily reminds one of the typical homes in Spain with its beckoning central courtyard, flowering plants, a mock well surrounded by function rooms and offices, and a simple entrance hall lined with walls of photos of illustrious members. The dining hall also reminds one of the typical old salons in Madrid, complete with the coat of arms of families designed on plates, dimly lit chandeliers, brocaded curtains, and quietly elegant tables. It serves Spanish food that may represent the different Spanish regions, Castillan or Catalan, with a distinct Filipino touch.
Making a difference and keeping people safe.
