San Agustin Church, also known as the Archdiocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación y Correa or the Immaculate Conception Parish, is a Roman Catholic church under the auspices of the Order of St. Augustine, located inside the historic walled city of Intramuros in Manila.

(It was my first visit to a church, and I decided to stop by because of some reasons. Yaba! W I am going diagonally over my imagination. The Manila Cathedral is just a short walk away. (

This is a place I would not recommend to anyone. People and place are very unchristian. Our family is Catholic and we just wanted to enter to pray. We were refused entry without having to pay an entrance fee. It is very sad that a sacred place such as this places money above prayer and devotion.

Back in the 90 s, San Agustin Church and Museum was my first museum experience. Church was good and very historical, museum was somewhat eerie in some areas, but I enjoyed touring around. This may be more aptly called a venue place for events like weddings and baptisms than an actual church. This is a church where you have to pay an entrance fee to get into, and don t forget the overpriced parking fee! Very shameful

) It is a slightly larger cathedral than the Manila Cathedral. If you are only going to visit one of the two, we recommend the Augustine Cathedral. (
