The set menu included 4 shrimp tempuras. We waited 45 minutes at the table until our teppanyaki chefs arrived. The food was not exceptional. To my unseasoned rice and to the teppan meat, I had to add soy sauce. Although tuna sashimi tasted good, it was not very thick. The slices measured 1 1/2 inches. The ambience was pleasant, however. This is my favorite japanese restaurant. It was excellent all around. The after-dinner event at Greenbelt 5, where it's found, added excitement!

Service and relaxed atmosphere are what sets Kimpura apart. Food was average, ribeye beef tepanyaki portion was tiny, yasai itame was overcooked and tasteless. Overall, may not come back anytime soon.

A private room was available for 5 people. The minimum consummable cost was only P6 000. My best friends and I really enjoyed our privacy as well as the good food.

We had a private room reserved for Mom s birthday. That was nice with minimum of Php15k. It was a bit disappointing since the taste of the fried rice and steak was different. The sushi and sashimi was fine. I didn t care of for the Sukiyaki....The grilled salmon was okay. Overall I feel it is over rated. Not the same as before. Sorry Kimpura.

Service is super slow on a wednesday lunch time. Took one hour to get served, even the sashimi. Had to follow up the orders 5 6 times. Servers not cheerful even the two ladies wearing kimonos who are supposed to be welcoming the customers. Food not...so great unagi teshouku, gyudon, etc are ordinary. Hope they will improve.
