Founded by Malou & Richard Tremblay, Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen, the first brand of the family, opened its doors to welcome guests in 2010. Malou Tremblay was the inspiration behind the restaurant's name. Mama Lou's Hospitality Group has expanded in different areas in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
The dishes that make it to their menu come from months of trial and error until they've perfected the recipes. The best-selling dishes they serve are Carpaccio di Manzo made of thinly sliced raw beef marinated with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, topped with capers, olives, greens, and shaved Parmesan cheese. Mama Lou's Special Pizza has tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, mango, arugula, balsamic cream, and mangoes. It comes with arugula and alfalfa on the side. They also have Escargot, an imported snail cooked in the oven with butter, garlic, and parsley. They make use of porcelain shells imported from France, not real shells.
In addition, they also serve Spaghetti Seafood Olio, Risotto Tartufo Funghi, Marbled Rib Eye Steak, French Onion Soup, and their famous Mama Lou's Ice tea.
Their operating hours are 11 am-10 pm Sunday-Thursday / 11 am-12 mn Friday-Saturday.
Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen offers home-cooked Italian dishes with their best-selling food like their Seafood Olio, Pizza Tabarnes, Chicken Parmigiana, and more.
