This is my personal experience, and that of my husband with Mesclun. My husband spent 10 days quarantined at Ascott Hotel in Makati. I expected that Mesclun would provide great food. They also helped set up the room outside my husband's room. He was surprised and didn't expect it. I thank Mesclun and all of their staff for all of their help.

It's so delicious! I especially love the buttermilk-fried chicken and the pizza crusts made from sourdough.

Ascott Makati's 6th-floor restaurant cafe serves great food. I also like the staff who take reservations, confirm with guests and make sure they have seating arrangements. Next was the chicken binakol. I enjoyed the lechon binagoongan. However next time I would ask for the shrimp paste or their truffle mushroom soup in sourdough bread. The salmon t... see more

It was OK. They make it sound like fine dining, but the food is okay. The staff made it seem like they should have arranged for us to eat at tables. We returned for breakfast and found that there were 10 open tables and 8 people waiting to get in.

From concessionaire to full-service restaurant, Aruga by Rockwell was Ascott Makati. Ambiance setting tables and food stations were evenly placed for the new normal safety protocols.
