About Lampara

Its brilliant executions of modern Filipino dishes and inspired cocktails speak to the Poblacion scene. Its name was inspired by fire and the passion of these chefs to push the Filipino dining scene forward in Brgy. Poblacion.

Signature Dishes

  • Duck leg: duck confit, soy, liver pie
  • Tanigue: soy- citrus, onions
  • Yema and tsokolate: condensed milk, shortbread, nougatine

The attempt to "bring new light to Filipino food" gave birth to a very sophisticated restaurant called Lampara, located in Poblacion, Makati. This neo-Filipino bistro is owned by RJ Ramos, Prince Tan, Alphonse Sotero, Pierreson Tan, Martin Hatol, and David dela Cruz.

It was a great place to have dinner. You feel like you are in the home of a friend. Michelle G Flag inappropriate Holy cow It is a must if you are visiting the Philippines. Presentation 10 10.

But the taste 11 10. Excellent service. It's amazing that I have been in the Philippines 3 years, and still not know about this country. The fish tingue, the ensalada and the tofu are all must-tries.

Joseph W Flag deems it inappropriate. Good food. The customer service was excellent. It was disappointing that some ingredients weren't available in popular beverages and that the restaurant was noisy.

They presented the dishes well and were of high quality. The food was good quality and I expected cloth napkins. However, the cost was not too high. - daniel a

The food was delicious, but a little too expensive for what it contained. However, the service staff were friendly and helpful.

It was odd to have a restaurant in a wall, but it was good. The starters were okay but the main dish was amazing. The meat was tender and the rice was delicious. But we won t discuss the dessert.

We don t remember where we first heard of this restaurant, but we were certain we would take our dad there when he visits us from the US. He was a big foodie and even though he had been to Antonio s and Blackbird, he said that Lampara was the most memorable place he had ever visited. It was a large hole in the wall. To get to the restaurant, you would have to go down a narrow corridor and then climb the steps. The food was decent but small portions. They are very knowledgeable about all the dishes.

We tried calling the restaurant to book a large party reservation but they didn't answer. I also tried texting their number, but they did not answer. I have learned over the years to avoid businesses that don't provide excellent customer service.
